Even Start Family Literacy Program
Even Start Family Literacy Program is a program funded through a grant from the United States Department of Education administered through the Office of Early Childhood Education. The Even Start Program is intended to help break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy and improve the educational opportunities of low-income families by integrating intensive early childhood education, adult literacy or adult education including support for English language learners, parenting education, and interactive literacy activities for parent (s) and child (ren).
Parenting classes through Even Start are only open to the participants of Even Start and not open to the public. However, if a family would like to apply for admission to the program, please contact Cathy Larson or Sarah Eppler or call them at 501-332-5002.
