Student Support Services (TRIO)
Student Support Services (SSS) is one of the federally funded TRIO programs designed to help qualified students enter and graduate from college. The goals are achieved through the following services: tutoring (personal and computer-aided); disability services; counseling (personal, career, and academic); cultural activities; and special events.
Our FREE program helps students:
- Increase awareness
- Meet new students
- Get to know faculty
- Successfully transfer to a four-year college
- Prepare resumes and letters to obtain employment
- Make career decisions
- Improve study skills
- Survive in college!
To receive assistance, students
must be enrolled, or accepted
for enrollment, in a program
of post-secondary education
and have an established
need for academic
assistance. All participants
must be low income, first generation,
and/or disabled.
